Strendingur was a consultant to Seltjarnarnesbær on the construction of a 40-apartment nursing home and day care center, totaling 3,415 m². The project was put out to tender in 2016 and a contract with the contractor was signed in December 2016. Construction began in February 2017 and the building was inaugurated in February 2019.
